Hi! I’m Tina,

Life is about progression. Just out of college, I landed my first job in the pharmaceutical industry and loved it. I met a lot of great and talented people, whom I have periodically called out a hello to throughout the years. I gained much experience from my early mentors, laying that laboratory skill foundation. As I ventured into new fields from manufacturing to toxicology laboratory setup to even medicinal marijuana, I gained further knowledge in quality assurance, control, regulatory requirements, (and oh my goodness the amount of work/time that goes into it). Again, meeting some great people and even not so great people. And those people can result in you changing directions in life. My work life balance was out of control. So, I decided to turn to veterinary medicine courses with the goal of going to veterinary school. Of course, the pandemic hit and that course was redirected. So, for the past few years, I have been interested in epidemiology and public health informatics, embracing a new set of skills.  Unfortunately, my position has been eliminated due to federal grant cuts. 

Aside from my career, I am a nature enthusiast spending time with my family, traveling, photography, culinary, and arts/culture. We have a farmland which we are actively working towards developing a nursery and providing landscaping supplies. In the meantime, my husband has a landscape business, which you can check out at www.rosemeadowhomescap.com. I also do floral and landscape design.

I decided to set up a blog to share my experiences and lessons.  I will be actively working on blogs and possibly even some training programs.
